There are two types of membership; both are required:
State Organization Membership is required in addition to chapter membership. Please refer to this page for the latest membership types and prices. With state organization membership, you will also receive a copy of CRFG’s bi-monthly magazine, the Fruit Gardener. Depending on your membership type, the magazine will either be delivered electronically to you as an online version, or mailed to you as a hardcopy. The magazine is easily worth the annual dues alone.
Chapter Membership costs $10 per year. You can join when you come to a chapter meeting.
No, but it is encouraged, since the money that we get from chapter dues helps us get excellent speakers and demonstrators, and also keeps the organization active. Non-members will also have to pay Arboretum admission to attend a meeting.
There is no better way to get started than to come and experience the community, friendship, and enthusiasm of others in the chapter.
Take a look at the list of chapters at the CRFG website. There may be one closer to you. Whichever one you go to, you’ll find knowledgeable people who are passionate about growing fruit.
